For a while, some of BNSF’s SD75M fleet was in helper service on Crawford Hill in Nebraska. Here, a set of three, each in a different scheme, shoves hard on the DPU of an eastbound coal load climbing the hill entering the big horseshoe curve below Belmont on September 6, 2008. Some, like No. 8243 were dressed in warbonnet colors and still lettered Santa Fe on their flanks.
