The second of four excursions of the 50th Annual New River Train idles on the running track as the final preparations are made for the day's journey through the Kanawha Valley & New River Gorge to Hinton, West Virginia. In the next 30 minutes, the train will depart from the former C&O Huntington passenger depot, now the defunct Huntington Division headquarters and head east down the Running Track to Guyandotte, where the train will cross onto the Kanawha Subdivision towards their only station stop of St. Albans, WV.
