After a week of snowfall it was a crisp sunny day when I visited the former Chemin de fer Bex-Villars-Bretaye (now part of the Transports Publics du Chablais). Here we see a train pushed upwards by locomotive HGe 4/4 #32 shorly after passing the Cold-de-Soud station. Beside the line preparations for skiing are in progress. During winter times the railway acts as main supplier for the skiers.
