Actually, it’s helicopters, trains, and RV’s,….and windmills. The World’s Fair Daylight makes a planned stop during its descent into Mojave at Cameron, California. If I recall correctly, this is where the diesel helpers, painted in the Daylight paint scheme, were uncoupled for the 4449 to run solo into Los Angeles. At the same time, a helicopter carrying a film crew has landed to coordinate future moves with the train’s crew. Meanwhile, the overlook along Route 58 has filled with railfans and daisy-pickers trying to get a look at the red and orange train.
