Southbound on Davis Grade. WW&F #9 hauls a 7-car mixed train southbound at Davis Grade, just a quarter mile north of the Sheepscot Yard, which is the southern terminus of the current WW&F Museum trackage. The Engineman on the throttle of #9 this day is WW&F Museum Member Rick Sisson.
The large collection of rail in the foreground is currently stored at this location, awaiting additional construction at the north end of the museum's trackage. The WW&F Museum's eventual goal is to reach Head Tide, a few miles to the north.
Special thanks are due to Brendan Barry from the WW&F Museum for the considerable brush cutting that was necessary to open this location for photos. It is one of the only elevated photo spots on this line.
