Dusk in Queens... The temperature is below freezing and, being a Sunday, the snow from the previous days storm lies undisturbed along the centre express track. The Monday morning rush hour will soon put paid to that! A Flushing bound No.7 train has just left 90th Street-Elmhurst Avenue, heading to its next stop at Junction Boulevard, while way in the distance, the next following train is approaching Woodside-61st Street. The tail lights of a Manhattan-bound train are just visible on the right hand track.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
