Remarks & Notes |
Cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 2/3 # 6 "Weisshorn" of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke (DFB) on the warm-up run from Realp to the start of the rack section. This 0-4-2 locomotive was built by SLM Winterthur in 1902 for the Visp-Zermatt Railway (VZ). It was the first operational steamlocomotive for the DFB on the Furka 1992, then in blue paint scheme. The home signal (Hippsche Wendescheibe/turnable signal invented by Mister Hipp) was opened already for the run to Realp station to take over the train 139 there. |
