A set of eastbound GE Silverliner IV's arrive at Somerton Station on the West Trenton Line in Northeast Philadelphia. Props to SEPTA for finding not only the funds, but the actual desire to construct a fitting replacement for the old dilapidated former Reading station. Though I'd have liked to have seen the original station restored, the typical alternative has often resulted in simple glass shelters. Odd, the station was not built with high level platforms, but ramps are located on each side. Interestingly, this is one of the few stations on the West Trenton line where pedestrians can walk across the main without needing to hike over to a nearby bridge or go under through a tunnel.
