PRR's Suburban Station, a 21 story building, opened on September 28, 1930 in the heart of Philadelphia to replace the above ground Broad Street Station. The station survives today and serves all SEPTA Regional Rail trains.
Below ground, the former PRR commuter lines have been connected through a tunnel to SEPTA's former Reading lines which were also stub ended at the nearby Reading Terminal.
Though I've photographed this station at night before, I was never satisfied with the results, until now. As a side note, this was my featured "Railroads Illustrated" DINA (Day in America) shot - made it with a minute to spare!
