The late afternoon sun is making the engineer squint as a set of former New Haven "Washboard" MUs makes the station stop at Old Greenwich, CT, while running as a Penn Central Stamford-Grand Central local. The unique triangular catenary here, strung by the NH in 1907, lasted into the 1980s.
