A tiny puddle reflects the light of the classic Norfolk & Western CPL's at Gunton Park, Virginia on a quiet winter night during my first visit to this location. This is the most secluded, tranquil location on the Pulaski District and easily one of of my favorite sets of signals that I've been to. The seclusion of them and the roar of locomotives climbing the grade out of Max Meadows audible for over two miles echoing through the night never got old as many times as I had come to this sentimental spot in the Virginia hills.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
