| A beautiful morning and sunrise. PRASA Class 6E1 locomotives, E1438 & E1321, in the Spoornet “orange” livery at their New Durban Yard awaiting their next duty assignment. PRASA were still using Class 6E1 locomotives to work their main line passenger trains at this stage in and out of Durban, KwaZulu Natal. Neither of these two locomotives were put through the Class 18 upgrade / conversion program carried out at Koedoespoort in Pretoria and they have either been scrapped or are working in other regions of South Africa. |
