There are times when setting up public relations or marketing shots don’t turn out exactly the way you envision them, and other times when the stars all align and a shot is remarkably better than you anticipate. On May 15 while setting up for a different shot, the Lake State Railway P101 was in need of headroom to back onto the main. That move would put the two specially-lettered units, LSRC SD40-2 6301 (Railway Age Short Line of the Year) and 4325 (25th anniversary), along with the nicely lettered and clean generator box car, alongside the yard job’s MP15.
