I'll admit. I am not a huge fan of reenactment and posed photos. I enjoyed the Lerro photo charter at Strasburg very much, but for the ability to shoot #89 as it trundled through the country side from private vantage points. The posed WWII photos later that night, I could do without.
What I am a fan of is catching individuals at casual moments when they aren't posing for photos. At this moment, #89 had just pulled in to the station and the two engineers are conversing after the shoot. It is neat because they wore period clothing throughout the photo shoot, and this photo very much could have been taken during WWII if it were black and white and the viewer knew none the wiser.
