Remarks & Notes
Rio Grande C-18 2-8-0 No. 315 switches at Chama, New Mexico, on the afternoon of June 5, 2018. Baldwin built the locomotive for Colorado’s Florence & Cripple Creek Railroad before going to the Rio Grande in 1917. After many years of static display, the Durango Railroad Historical Society finished restoring to operation the 3-foot gauge Consolidation in 2008, and in 2016, the locomotive headed for some time on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad.
