The Lehigh & Hudson River Railway owned thirteen Alco RS-3s that comprised its first diesel era road power. Looking like it could really use a bath, L&HR 4 idled outside the line's Warwick, NY, diesel shop in 1969. Not long after, this locomotive went to the St. Johnsbury & Lamoille County in Vermont, and eventually wound up as a parts engine for the Delaware-Lackawanna.
