Following a brief (but heavy) fall shower, Indiana Northeastern's only six-axle locomotives drip-dry in the late afternoon sun in front of the railroad's main office, which once served as the New York Central's Lansing Division headquarters one hundred years ago. Unit 3084 was built at GMDD 12/66 as CP 5527 [SD40]. Unit 3125 was built at EMD 9/69 as SP 9006 [SD45]. These two units were repainted last year in the railroad's new shop near Ashley-Hudson, Indiana, and are kept impeccably clean!
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
