Smoke from more destructive wildfires raging in California can be seen being blown offshore from heavy and dry Santa Ana winds. There's the Hill fire in Ventura Ca, the Woolsey fire in Los Angeles Ca. and the Camp fire in Northern California. The morning sun rises on AMTK 450 pushing eastbound Pacific Surfliner No.768 into Ventura. The fires are not a threat to the railroad but they still have to deal with all the smoke. Everyone stay safe out there.
Some of the best passenger locomotives that EMD ever made (aside from the F40PH). With all Amtrak F59s gone from the Surfline, the only place that they can be seen is with Caltrans (Amtrak California).
