Santa Fe 5347 West creeps through the ATSF-UP interchange to get to UP's Stockton Yard from Santa Fe's Mormon Yard. Because of catastrophic flood damage to SP's Tehachapi line on March 1, 1983, Santa Fe is having to detour all its northern California traffic over the UP via the Feather River Canyon and beyond. Once in place in UP's Charter Way siding, the train's power will run around it and couple onto the other end. UP will then place its pilot loco on the point.
