Remarks & Notes |
The red taillights of the Allegra railcar ABe 8/12 # 3509 draw a curved trail of light along the mostly snow-covered, frozen Lago Bianco at about 2250 meters above sea level. The landscape is brightly illuminated by the almost full moon. In the far distance above the northern dam of the lake you can see the 3246 meter high Piz Ot, which is located north of the Engadine. To the right is the pyramid-shaped Piz Albris, 3166 metres high. On the top right the red light is on the top of Piz Lagalb at 2959 m. The red lights next to the light track of the train near Ospizio Bernina come from the flashing lights at the footpath crossing. The railcar runs empty as train 5676 from Poschiavo to Pontresina and then over the Vereina line to Landquart.
