In September, 1985, the Reading Technical & Historical Society ran newly-acquired T-1 4-8-4 2102 on a series of excursions to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the outshopping of the T-1. The Northerns were created in the Reading Company shops in its namesake city, rebuilt from I-10sa Consolidations. Here, exactly one week after its 40th birthday, the 2102 simmers at Temple, Pennsylvania while passengers load for a Philadelphia-bound excursion.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
