At the Lake Shore Railway Museum in North East, PA, one can see what is perhaps the brightest engine in museum inventory anywhere in the United States. The 1980 General Electric built B30-7 ex-C&O 8272 is one of seven GE locomotives in the "Locomotives that Dad & Grandpa Built Collection", and was donated by CSX after cosmetic restoration at the Huntington, WV shops. Also one of the newer engines preserved in a museum, it is a good reminder to remember that everything in service will one day be retired.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
