It is about 2:00 in the morning as a northbound KCS coal train, led by Union Pacific 8752, sits in the siding at Page. The train was stopped for a couple hours waiting for two southbound KCS trains, which gave me ample time to wait for the Milky Way to rise above the train. The engineer or conductor would come down and chat with me and see how I was taking the photos of the Milky Way.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
