The MBTA CapeFLYER (known as the "Flying Clam" to locals) crosses over Cohasset Narrows just after crossing the Cape Cod Railroad bridge and taking on passengers in Buzzards Bay. The former New Haven era bridge over the narrows was replaced earlier this spring. The 1052 bears a decal on its nose commemorating the opening of the MBTA Greenbush line almost 12 years ago.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
