Remarks & Notes |
On the first run of the day, Green Mountain Rail Company 405, a 1951 ALCO RS-1 originally built for the Rutland Railroad leads a train through Bartonsville in the Town of Rockingham. The train departed Chester for Rockingham and is seen returning. The 405 has been running the rails in Vermont since it was built and is the only one of its class remaining active in the state.
