"Coke Under the Pelham Bay Bridge Catenary"
Amtrak Coca-Cola wrapped ACS-64 606 leads Regional 157 west under the Pelham Bay Railroad Bridge's catenary structures on Amtrak's Hell Gate Line. The locomotive was wrapped to mark the introduction of Coke products being served onboard Amtrak trains. The Pelham Bay Bridge is a two-track movable railroad bridge that carries Amtrak's Northeast Corridor (NEC) over the Hutchinson River in the Bronx, New York. It was completed by the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad in 1907. Sometime in the future this bridge will be replaced with a newer bridge that will include clearance for maritime traffic. |
