Steam meets steam at T.O.M. Wiscasset Waterville & Farmington Locomotive #9 takes the siding with her mixed train at Top of the Mountain (T.O.M.) on the WW&F Railway, while the beefy Bridgton & Saco River #7 waits on the main with her own mixed consist, for clearance to proceed south. This is the first-ever meeting of these two locomotives on mainline track anywhere. Back in the 2-foot era, the WW&F and B&SR Railroads never interchanged, and of course, in the latter part of the 20th century, when B&SR #7 was at Edaville Railroad in Massachusetts, WW&F #9 was still hidden away in Alice Ramsdell's barn in Thompson, CT.
