The time has finally come for all of the equipment belonging to the defunct New York & Greenwood Lake Railway that is stored in Passaic to be removed. Once all of the equipment is off of the property the city will commence with removal of all the tracks in order to develop the area. The equipment is being moved to Island Yard, where it will be inspected by New Jersey Transit in order to be moved onto the Bergen County Line for interchange. While this covered hopper is one of the least unique pieces of equipment that will be moved, it had the honor of being the first to leave.
