Supplementing the light from the five story high windows, ten enormous Art Deco chandeliers hang from the 95' high ceiling ceiling of Philadelphia's 30th Street Station in Pennsylvania. The chandeliers, on this afternoon, Saturday, March 21st, 2020 - amidst the COVID-19 pandemic - far outnumber the passengers occupying the 135ft by 290ft main concourse. The station, which today serves Amtrak, albeit, a drastically limited number of trains for the time being, was built for the Pennsylvania Railroad between 1929 and 1934 during the Great Depression.
