On a cold and cloudy day, many railfans in the Northern Indiana region flocked to the NS Marion Branch to witness what could possibly be a one time ordeal... NS 200 out of Danville, KY had the UP 1943 assigned as it's lead loco. With many rumours of this loco being trail only, it was feared it would be put in trail during it's lengthy trip to Chicago... Well to everyone's delight, it led the train the whole way!
