This trio of immaculate General Electric E60’s has the morning, loaded, train well in hand as they climb a short, steep grade that takes them out of eastern Utah’s Coyote Basin. Today’s train is also pulling 3 empty side dump gondolas on the rear. They will be left at the Bonanza Power Plant for loading with either fly ash or gravel for pick up by the afternoon train and returned to the loadout in Colorado. Just another ordinary day on the USA’s last electric, heavy haul freight railroad.
