MBTA GP40MC 1136 (ex-CN) leads the northbound Cape Flyer at Cohasset Narrows on the Wareham/Bourne town line. A very soft sunlight illuminates the scene just before sunset and right after moon-rise. The 1935-built vertical lift bridge is seen in the background, still lowered for the Cape Cod Dinner Train.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
