Making the case about the Safety of rail passenger travel, Amtrak California no. 768, the morning Surfliner from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles, passes morning commute traffic on Hwy 1 and Freeway 101 stopped because of a three car crash. Would like to see more trains and more people using this mode of transportation in the future.
