For the jubilee event in Gletsch, celebrating 30 years since the expedition "Back to Switzerland" to Vietnam, 20 years since the re-opening of the line from Realp to Gletsch and 10 years since the re-opening of the whole line Realp-Oberwald of the former Furka mountain line, a group of contemporary clothed passengers showed up and are posing in front of the large 4 cylinder compound cogwheel locomotive HG 4/4 # 704 of the DFB. This locomotive was delivered from Switzerland to Vietnam (then Indochina, french colony) in 1924 and brought back as scrap in 1990. Since 2018 this 0-8-0 T is operational again in perfect shape after 12 years hard work by volunteers. For this event, the locomotive got new, little smaller inscriptions "DFB 704" on the buffer beam, handpainted with shadows, after original french templates. The beautiful large headlights are out of the private collection of the engineer, which was then back in 1990 part of the expedition team in Vietnam!
