Cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 3/4 # 9 of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke, built in 1914 by SLM Winterthur for the Brig-Furka-Disentis Railway (BFD), is leaving Gletsch for Oberwald with an extra train on the occasion of the jubille event. The locomotive was sold by the Furka-Oberalp-Bahn to Vietnam in 1947 and brought back to Switzerland in 1990 more or less as scrap. Operational again for the DFB since 1993 after a revision in Meiningen/Germany, in blue color and numbered as # 2 "Gletschhorn" til 1999. After a large revision by the DFB in Chur, she is black again and lettered as "BFD # 9" since 2013. This day she was driven by Oliver Studer, head of the large revision and engine chief.
