"Night Shuttle at the Wall Street Tunnel"
A late night Danbury Shuttle emerges from the north end of the Wall Street Tunnel in Norwalk, Connecticut as it heads up Metro North's Danbury Branch. During the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad era, the other side of this tunnel featured a small, station. Unfortunately due to floods and its close proximity to the popular South Norwalk Station, the station was removed not too long after its creation.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
