With only 8 minutes left unit sunset, the Cape Cod Dinner Train is seen at Cohasset Narrows in Wareham, MA with MC 2011 (ex-NH FL9M) on the point. The train has just changed direction and is going southbound onto the Falmouth Line to clear up for the Cape Flyer. The 1935-built vertical-lift railroad bridge over the Cape Cod Canal is seen in the distance, and is the only object in sight illuminated by the sun.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
