During the winter months of the year when the days are short, the SU-99 is sadly a mostly nocturnal run. Seen here the tri-weekly SU-99 is passing the well known Newfoundland Station on a chilly winter evening after some snow fell earlier in the day. This is my first attempt at some night work after recently acquiring some flashes. Hopefully some more to come soon!
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
