A foggy, eerie morning in the Mississippi Delta finds CN 2325 doing its best Rudolph impression as it brings up the rear of an early Christmas gift for the Louisiana refineries. As per CN operating code, 2325 is acting as DPU and as such is lit by a red tail marker instead of the typical dim headlight. With visibility this morning being below 2000ft, should another crew come into contact with 2325, they will have little doubt as to what they are seeing and will be able to use every second of possible braking time.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
