Late Loch. The Museum of the American Railroad in Frisco, TX hosts an extensive collection of railroad equipemnt. Originally built by Budd in 1959 for Missouri Pacific as #699 "Southland", this slumbercoach was the only one that they would own. It was then bought by Northern Pacific and operated as 329 "Loch Tarbet", and would later become Amtrak 2090 after conversion to HEP. Only 18 slumbercoaches were built new by Budd (24 singles, 8 duplex), distinguishable from the 10 that were rebuilt from existing cars by (16 singles, 10 duplex).
