Going for Help: After making a pick-up at Manville Yard, Q410 departed but found itself in a difficult position: it didn't have enough power to effectively pull its train once on the Conrail Lehigh Line and came to a stop east of CP Bound Brook on Main #2. The North Jersey Dispatcher was not amused. The crew and the dispatcher agreed on a solution: the train had an offline engine on the hind end of their train that they could retrieve and use for additional power. To retrieve it though, the crew had to cut off the 2 lead engines (SD40-3 CSXT 4047 trailing), proceed ten miles east (as seen here) to CP Potter, then head west back to CP Port Reading Junction. They could then come behind their train from the Trenton Line at Manville, and then move the 3 engines to the front and try again.
