2-6-2 T steamlocomotive Eb 3/5 # 5819 of SBB Historic is leaving Arth Goldau for Brugg AG, pulling the steam rotary snow blower Xrot # 100, built in 1896 by Henschel/Cassel/Germany for the Gotthardbahn (Gotthard Railway). Exactly 125 years ago, on january 17th in 1896, this snow blower, which was called "Rotary", was delivered in Rotkreuz station and then brought to Erstfeld. The Xrot # 100 is part of SBB Historic and was exhibited in the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne since 1982, but it had been moved to the Arth Goldau depot for space reasons.
