Late Day at Manchac Pass. CN A420 has made great time south on the former IC out of Jackson, which allowed us to thankfully shoot it on the Manchac Pass bridge. Manchac Pass is the narrow Bayou that connects Lake Maurepas to Lake Ponchatrain on the northeast extremities of the Nola region. Soon the train will roll over the eastern pass of the Bonnet Carre Spillway and round the tight curve at Orleans JCT as they head to Geismar via Destrehan. The BC rail may be one of the most out of place engines in Louisiana swampland, but it sure looked great as we approached dusk with water on all sides. Thanks for looking and enjoy!
