CP 251 takes a rest in front of the old depot in Jackman, Maine just after 1 in the morning for a crew change before continuing west towards the Canada/USA border. SD40 6067 does the honors and the red and white stripes with the combination of snow gives the scene a nice Christmas card vibe.
Taking a look at the same train and scene as captured by different photographers. The best way to view will be to sort by photo date so the photos are grouped together.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
