Sometimes the timing all comes together. The California Zephyr was just a little late arriving at Keenesburg, Colorado, which allowed the fog to roll in and the bright orange sun to elevate just high enough to shine over the shoulder of the P42DC leading the train.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
