Cutting through an icy dawn It’s early morning on a cold January 30, 2005, as an eastbound Union Pacific coal train descends the grade of the Moffat Tunnel Subdivision mainline in freezing fog and light snow, passing the mile 14.6 searchlight signals west of Leyden, Colorado.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
