Black River & Western #60, after a year and a half long hiatus finally returned to steam this weekend after many countless hours by volunteers and workers to make sure the locomotive was in running order. The final adjustments to the locomotive were done this past week, with many volunteers having countless nights trying to make sure everything was in perfect condition. Their hard work paid off, with the locomotive being deemed ready for operation mere hours before the July 4th Weekend.
The information came out so close to the weekend, that very few people went out to photograph the locomotive. Those who did though were not disappointed, and the workers on the BR&W put on quite a show. Here's a toast to those magnificent volunteers, who have so diligently worked hard to preserve American history.
