After a day of torrential rain that only had added to the previous heavy amounts over the last 2 days, standing water was everywhere. Another consequence of all of the rain was a washout south of Pontiac that prevented L514 from coming back north. After picking up their new cars from Moterm, making a quick stop in Pontiac, they finally made it back north just in time for a break in the rain right around sunset.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
