A pair of Union Pacific coal trains roll over Logan Hill in Wyoming’s Powder River Basin as another night begins on July 2, 2016. Even in today’s greatly reduced coal output in the Basin, the four-track railroad over Logan Hill can still be busy at times.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
