ALCO Safari Day 7, Delaware Lackawanna: Due to needing extra power for the day, it was determined that Job LL1 would shove PO74 up the hill, cut off, and then grab the head two units at Tobyhanna. Here LL1 comes up behind PO74 and prepares to tie on at Ridge Row. DL 1804 was part of the very first order of RS-11's and was built 8/1956 for the Duluth, Winnipeg & Pacific.
Don Colangelo, retired CMO (and sometimes piano player) at the DL Scranton shops cared for the many ALCOs, MLWs and a few EMDs that passed in and out of South Scranton and Von Storch shop doors.
Here is a look and many of those units.
